How do I visit an inmate?

Visitation is scheduled by the inmate's housing assignment. A list of visitation times and regulations are posted on the Jail page. Please be aware housing assignments are subject to change.

How do I obtain a protection order?

During regular business hours, applications for protection orders are taken at the Circuit Clerk's office, located in Room 205 on the main floor of the courthouse. In an emergency after hours or during the weekend, applications may be made at the Sheriff's Office. There is no cost to apply.

When are the tests for drivers licenses?

Every Wednesday and the second and fourth Fridays of the month. Hours are 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and 1:00 p.m. to 3:25 p.m. License examiners will be in the training room at the far end of the lobby on the right.

How do I report a crime or suspicious activity?

In an emergency, call 911 or you may reach the Sheriff's Office directly at 660-886-5511. You may also submit a crime tip online.
