Outdoor Exercise Yard
Inmates are allowed to exercise in this outdoor yard for up to one hour every weekday.
Medical Room
The medical room is used by our attending physician on his weekly visits to the jail. He performs routine services to inmates here. The doctor will also come out sometimes for special circumstances that can't wait until his next visit, yet do not warrant a trip to the E.R.
Housing Control
This is the Jail Officer desk where all pods can be watched. In addition, the control board is here which operates all of the doors and intercoms throughout the housing areas. All boards within the secured area can be over-ridden by Master Control if needed for security purposes.
In-House Circuit Court Room
We also have a Circuit Court room set up in-house so that weekend, evening and holiday hearings can be held here at the jail when necessary. This is very helpful when the safety of the inmate or reaction towards the outcome of such a hearing is a concern. It allows the inmate to appear before the judge and still be within a confined area.
Kitchen
This is our kitchen equipped with a walk-in cooler, walk-in freezer, 2 convection ovens, 2 standard ovens, industrial toaster, 2 microwaves, industrial dishwasher, 3 large stainless steel basin sinks, steam table and serving counter. We have 2 full time cooks and the kitchen also utilizes the help of 2 trustees at a time to prepare trays for serving. Three meals a day are served out of this kitchen, 365 days a year.
