Secured Area
Take a Look inside our state-of-the-art facility.
Here we will walk you through our jail, the secured area of our facility.

|
Our Sallyport
This is the first area of our facility most people see after being taken into custody. There are doors on both ends of the Sallyport allowing for patrol cars to move through quickly and efficiently to drop off their prisoners on a busy night or court days. |
MSHP Breathalyzer
This is where breath tests are given to people who appear to be intoxicated. This is done before entering the booking area. All of the rooms shown on this page are monitored by cameras from Master Control by the Communications Department. |

|
Booking
This is where people are taken next to answer questions regarding criminal history if any, vital statistics, and any special medical needs. |
|
Mugshots
Every person who comes through our doors under arrest for any offense is fingerprinted and photographed. These records are kept here on file and copies of some records are forwarded to the Missouri State Highway Patrol for entry into the MULES/NCIC computer system.

Holding Cell
After processing is finished people are placed into a holding cell such as this one to use the telephone and try to make arrangements for bond, sober up if necessary or wait for an available Jail Officer to dress them out. These rooms are also used when it is necessary to monitor an inmate on camera for safety reasons. |
|
Day Area
We currently have 8 "pods", 5 of which are equipped with a day area as seen here and 4 to 8 individual cells.
